Quality Enhancement Plan

QEP Overview

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges requires member institutions to develop a five-year Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) as part of the reaffirmation of accreditation process. In the Principles of Accreditation, Core Requirement 2.12 says that the plan must clearly address student learning, identify issues emerging from institutional assessment of need, and engage a broad range of institutional stakeholders. The mission of UCF’s QEP, What’s Next: Integrative Learning for Professional and Civic Preparation, is to prepare graduates to successfully enter and participate in the next steps of their professional and civic lives. Through integrative learning, the QEP helps students make connections among academic, community, and professional experiences. Additional information on the QEP may be found online at https://undergrad.ucf.edu/whatsnext/.
