Student Achievement at UCF

Student achievement is at the very heart of all we do at UCF. It continues to be the primary driver behind UCF’s mission and each of our strategic planning goals established by President John C. Hitt when he arrived at the university in 1992. Student achievement is also central to the Florida State University System’s strategic plan and goals for 2025. One of twelve public institutions comprising the State University System (SUS), UCF regularly evaluates its goals and success with respect to student achievement using the criteria and associated key metrics identified below. State-mandated annual reviews of such goals and outcomes are completed to gauge progress toward UCF and SUS strategic planning goals.

  • Baccalaureate Student Retention & Graduation Rates
  • Overall Degree Production
  • Degree Production in Programs of Strategic Emphasis
  • Degrees Awarded to Minorities
  • Job and Graduate School Placement among Baccalaureate Students
  • Wages of Baccalaureate Graduates
