Reaffirmation Process

Compliance Certification

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges’ reaffirmation of accreditation process requires member institutions to demonstrate compliance with a number of core requirements, comprehensive standards, and federal requirements as outlined in in the Principles of Accreditation. Numerous faculty and staff members, administrators, students, and community stakeholders are involved in the process of gathering and presenting evidence of UCF’s compliance with the standards. The Compliance Certification includes a narrative response to each standard and relevant supporting documentation to illustrate compliance. Below is UCF’s Compliance Certification document.

Focused Report

The Compliance Certification is reviewed by an off-site reaffirmation review committee, which may request additional information or clarification on any of the standards or requirements addressed in the report. The Focused Report is the university’s response to the request for additional information. Below is UCF’s Focused Report.
